Word Fizz: a free word association puzzle
Word Fizz is a free online word puzzle game. Every glass is full of floating word bubbles, and every word belongs to a hidden group of four, such as fruits, planets, dances or kitchen tools. Drag the words that belong together onto each other until each group pops. Play 30 levels, a new daily puzzle every day, and fill your word album with all 63 groups. It runs in any browser on phone, tablet or computer, with no download and no sign-up.
How to play Word Fizz
- Find two words that belong to the same group, for example APPLE and MANGO.
- Drag one word bubble onto the other. On a phone you can also tap one bubble, then tap the other.
- Words from the same group merge into a bigger bubble. When four words are together, the group pops and is added to your word album.
- Every drag onto a bubble uses one move, even a wrong match, so think before you drop.
- Clear every group before you run out of moves to win the level. Finish with no wrong matches for three stars.
Helpers
- +5 moves (from level 6) gives you five extra moves.
- Magnifier (from level 7) lights up two words that belong together.
- Magnet (from level 10) completes a whole group for free.
Each helper is free once per level. Buy more with coins, which you earn by winning levels, making combos, earning trophies and playing the daily puzzle.

What happens if I match the wrong words? The bubble bounces back and you lose one move. You can still win, but three stars needs a level with no wrong matches.
Is there a new puzzle every day? Yes. The daily puzzle changes at midnight. Play it every day to build your streak and earn more coins.
Is it good for kids and adults? Yes. The early levels use everyday words, and later levels mix similar groups like herbs and spices or countries and cities to challenge vocabulary and logic.
